TRAVEL & STAY
Airports & Getting Around
MCI is Kansas City’s international airport. It’s Kansas City’s only public airport. MCI is about 20 minutes north of the city, so don’t be alarmed if you only see cornfields as you land.
We recommend rideshares like Uber and Lyft to get around the city. They are generally low cost, but they can take a few minutes to pick you up. If you plan on relying on rideshares to get around, allow yourself a bit of extra time for the car to arrive.
Recommended Hotels
For visiting guests, we decided to recommend a couple of our favorite hotels.
If you’re looking for independent and artsy with a tie to PBR - try Crossroads Hotel.
If you’re looking for historic art deco vibes with a speakeasy - try Hotel Phillips.
Stay at an AirBnB
Kansas City has plenty of beautiful and affordable AirBnbs.
The River Market and Crossroads neighborhoods are great spots to look, with lots of restaurants and bars.
Brookside and West Plaza are great areas for those looking for larger homes.
If you’re still unsure of what neighborhoods to stay in, feel free to text Bailey or Josh.
